Troubled waters
When God brings us to troubled waters, it’s not to drown us, but to remove the accumulated dirt. Sometimes a rinse won’t do, agitation is needed to shake off the buildup.
You often read of successful people who got there due to being put into life experiences they wanted to escape. Or others who experienced a trauma that forced them to change their entire life in an instant.
Whatever the experience may have been, it’s revealing to see that the troubled waters we find ourselves in is never meant for us to suffer, but more so to rinse debris of the past. All the while enhancing our swimming skills. But because we are creatures of habit, the shake up can be alarming.
These are the moments we have to use pure honesty with ourselves and take responsibility for what you have created, so you can let go anything that is not for your greater good.
Have faith that God is shaking things up to make you uncomfortable. Your skills will reveal you were put there because you are strong enough to swim to calmer water. Remember when you feel like your drowning, it’s only a shake to redirect you.

What a wonderful way to understand how the difficult times in our lives represents nothing more than a quick car wash. When you consider the time it takes to drive through the wash, vs the entire road trip we are on, well that trial we are facing just got a bit easier to handle. Thanks Daune for your amazing insight and for your inspiration to us all. With His love, Wayne
