HABITUAL LEARNING

Habitual Learning is a result of repetition.  Repeating something many times creates habits. You then can access that habit quickly and repeat it without using your conscious brain.  Similar to driving a car, you become so skilled at it, you might find you end up at your destination and wonder how you got there so fast.  You were thinking about something else while you were driving and didn’t have to focus on the actual driving to get to your destination.  So it’s important to pay attention to the thoughts that play in your head.

Your actions are a byproduct of your habits. Some of the behaviors you repeat that you don’t particularly like and would like to change, are most likely subconscious programming that has become habitual.  Is your inner bully overpowering and negative?  Do you catch yourself using poor self talk or belittling yourself.  Do you do it and you aren’t even aware you are doing it at times.  If you get quiet and just listen to that inner voice, you will hear your habitual thoughts.  Especially when you are tired, hungry or stressed.  Do your habitual behaviors need some change?

  1. Simply deciding to change your thinking is the first step.

  2. Then find a new habit (thought pattern) to replace the old one.

  3. Repeat Daily.

Check your daily thoughts and see if you need a daily boost of positive. Wouldn’t it be nice to let me guide you every morning with habitual learning of positive thoughts at the beginning of your day.  Start today and sign up for my idi daily dose text and make that a habit.
