Just Pick
How often do you hear others telling you whats wrong in their lives. Or what they wish they could do or even better describing in detail every person in their life that is hindering them from getting what they want. How does this repetitive story sit with you? It sounds just like it is…A Story! Better yet, its an excuse! And it gets annoying!
When you are excited about an event taking place in your life, you become one of the most driven, efficient, productive person possible to attain the excitement at the end of the road. You do whatever it takes to get ready for a vacation, or train for a sporting event, or cook for a special occasion. You are on a mission to achieve what you want. You make it happen.
Now why is it any different when other not so exciting events arrive to make things happen? Do you think it wont have the same outcome. Do you fear the outcome? Do you fear the success?
This is often the case when we have to decide what we truly want in life. What we want to become? Where we want to live? What we need balance in. When the outcome was planned and fun, you didn’t question what the outcome would look like, you just did it. But when you aren’t sure what the outcome will be, you hold back or avoid making a choice all together. We question if we are capable and often refrain from making choices that would benefit us out of fear it might change another’s life. Who are you to decide if the effect it has on another is good or bad. It could be a beneficial decision for all involved that you can not foresee until the choice is made.
Now this is the interesting part, in order to get all the things you want, you just have to choose it. Sounds simple..right? It really is. Unfortunately, we are less confident in our ability to choose from our core what we truly want. And then stick to it, no matter what time, or circumstance is in front of you to make it happen. Just like prepping and planning for a vacation a year away. You need to research, save, organize, engage and execute.
This is all you need to do to improve your life. Decide what you really want and continue to work on it until its in your possession. Some things may take years and some may take days. But the first step, is choosing!
So I ask you…”What Do YOU Want?” Write it down and make a plan to make it happen. Don’t question how or when, just decide what! You are now on your way!
Brightest Blessings,
Daune
